Or at least I like to say that. Actually, usually I really don't like to. Doesn't matter. Anywho. Or something. Oh! Yes! Despite yet another outstanding loss by my Steelers, this weekend was good. Saw my boys, hung out with people and got generally absolutely nothing scholastic done. That was, however, grossly unsurprising. Inasmuch, I am still behind in almost every one of my classes. Today has been devoted to attempting to correct this issue. I am now almost completely caught up in Organizational Commumincations. Next will be some studying and reading for Lit Crit followed shortly by finishing my @(#*$ portfolio for Writing of Fiction. After that, I'm figuring I'll read for Writer's Workshop. My take-home Latin test has been shoved to the waaaaaaay back burner. For now. I'll panic and work on that in the near future. GOOD GOD, SAVE ME BEFORE I DROWN IN A SEA OF FIBROUS EVIL. On the happy note, I'm not freaking out about it anymore. I'm not despairing or anything. I had some very simple, very logical advice from a friend who probably didn't know how much he helped. I told him how I feel like I just see the giant wall that looks terrifying and insurmountable. He said "that's when [you] attack one brick until it is gone and then move onto another one." He said it kept him from caring too much, but I didn't need to worry about caring. I needed to worry about working. God Bless my Joshypoo. Hehe. Tags: boys, football, life, school
